The exhibition presents the photographic works of Alice Burr (1883-1968), an accomplished member of the amateur and professional movements in photography that flourished in early twentieth-century California. The fifty images in the show, which date from about 1910-1925 are representative of her distinctive artistic personality and of her interest in exploring a number of techniques, including silver and pigment prints, as well as autochromes. An illustrated catalog accompanies the show.

Organized by independent curator and writer Thomas Weston Fels, in conjunction with the family of Alice Burr.
