The Albin O. Kuhn Library Gallery presents Paradoxes of Modernism: Selections from the Photography Collections of UMBC, opening on April 14th and continuing through June 29th, featuring approximately 70 selections from the Photography Collections at UMBC.

The exhibition will survey the movement from 1900 to the 1970s. Among the photographers whose work will be presented are Ansel Adams, Jim Amos, Diane Arbus, Bernice Abbott, Brassai, Cary Beth Cryor, Judy Dater, Bruce Davidson, William Eggleston, Walker Evans, Eric Fischl, Robert Frank, Robert Heinecken, Lisette Model, David Plowden, Christian Schad, Aaron Siskind, Jerry Uelsmann, James VanDerZee, Garry Winogrand and Barbara Young.
